Hume Regional Integrated Cancer Service

The Victorian Integrated Cancer Services (VICS) are Victoria's cancer services improvement network.  The services build relationships between healthcare providers and other cancer care stakeholders to develop, implement and evaluate initiatives that improve the way Victoria’s health services provide care and support. There are 8 adult services based in distinct geographical locations across Victoria (3 based in metropolitan Melbourne and 5 regional) and one statewide paediatric service.

I have worked for Hume Regional Integrated Cancer Service since 2018 as Project Lead - Cancer Service Improvement and have been working on projects to improve the care of the older person with cancer since 2021.  I have a nursing background having qualified as a registered (Div 1) nurse in the UK in 1990.  My previous position was Project Coordinator leading a large population health project across locations in Hume for the University of Melbourne, Department of Rural Health.
