Carla Thamm

Caring Futures Institute, Flinders University, Adelaide and Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane

Dr Carla Thamm is a Senior Research Fellow and Clinical Lead of the Cancer Survivorship Program at the Caring Futures Institute at Flinders University and based at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. She also holds an adjunct appointment with the Queensland University of Technology. Carla is a current Clinical Oncology Society of Australia (COSA) Cancer Survivorship Fellow. Carla has been a cancer nurse for over 20 years, working in various cancer settings and advanced practice roles throughout Australia and the England. Carla is currently the chair of the CNSA Education Standing Committee. She is also actively involved in committees of International Society of Nurses in Cancer Care (ISNCC) and COSA. Her program of research is focused on improving the experience of cancer survivors through innovative models of care.
