Kate Pallot's career as a Register Nurse, starting in paediatrics and then general surgical (CNS) resulted in her having a passion for optomising the 'patinet experience'. 

Through experiences navigating the oncology support services as a consumer, Kate has experienced first hand how important it is to recieve the right information at the right time. 

Her role as the Cancer Council Liaison, situated at Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre works alongside the cancer centre health professionals to provide support, information and service navigation accross the cancer continuum. 

In addition to her position within her local treatment centre she is also Cancer Council NSW Lead Liaison, Regional and Rural which enables her to be a frontline voice to advocate for patients and carers outside metropolitan areas.
