Sydney Children's Hospital

Andrew has been working as a registered nursing in paediatric oncology for over 10 years. He has a keen interest in clinical education and has worked across various roles in education, innovation and research. Andrew has taken a lead role in a number of projects, presenting the works at Australasian conferences including ANZCHOG ASM and the Australasian Nurse Educator Conference, as well as publishing in medical journals.
More recently, Andrew has been focussing on cancer genetics. He is currently involved in coordinating a paediatric cancer genetics clinic at the Sydney Children’s Hospital. He is combining this with a PhD, co-designing the model of care and exploring the role of nurses in this area.
Andrew is passionate about improving the hospital journey and health outcomes for hospitalised children and believes this can be achieved through utilising a quality approach, integrated with research, to guide clinical practice.
